Explorer TX-01 Travel Explorer Ball Head

The lightweight CNC machined aluminum alloy design weighs a total of 138g (0.3lbs) while supporting up to 5kg (11lbs) of gear – enough support and stability for larger camera bodies with telephoto lenses such a 70-200mm from most major manufacturers – and still compact enough to make it convenient to carry for supporting mobile phone brackets and other photography or videography accessories.

The TX-01 Travel Explorer Ball Head is fitted to tripods via a 3/8” screw. It has a 25mm diameter ball head with a 90° notch for fast and accurate switching between vertical and horizontal compositions. The box includes an Explorer EX-26 ARCA / RSS compatible base plate and 1/4”-3/8” adapter for fitting to many standard tripods on the market. 

The ball head has a 360° panning base with scale marks to assist with shooting and stitching panoramic images and solid aluminum knobs and clamps for durability and ease of use in various conditions.
