Boasting on its superb imagery, this lens features three aspherical elements and one Advanced Aspherical (AA) element which combat aberrations. To help minimize reflections in order to deliver greater image clarity, contrast, and colour fidelity, the Zeiss T* anti-reflective coatings have been applied to each lens surface. Featuring a maximum aperture of f/1.4, experience excellent performance in low-light situations as well as the ability to create images with a shallow depth of field. The shooters will love the fast, responsive focusing due to the implementation of a direct drive Super Sonic wave AF motor and an internal focusing mechanism.
