SmallRig x LensVid mini L-Shaped Mount Plate Kit MD4360 is co-designed by Iddo Genuth, co-founder and editor of LensVid.com, a photography and video website that has been in business for 10 years, and SmallRig DreamRig program. This kit provides a more compact solution for mounting equipment and accessories, such as wireless image transmitters, monitors, V-mount plates, etc., at a 90deg angle to your camera. It also comes with four mounting solutions: 1/4″-20 screw, 1/4″-20 locating screw, 3/8″-16 screw, and ARRI 3/8”-16 locating hole to fulfill more usage scenarios for our users. The device features a built-in anti-slip silicone pad that protects your camera from scratches and ensures secure mounting. The load-bearing capacity of 1.2kg/2.6lb is compatible with most wireless image transmitters and accessories.
These 300mm (11.8”) long Rods are one of the basic building blocks of all SYMPLA rigs, and are always used in parallel pairs to create a track which allows components to be mounted and positioned correctly.
Rods can be united to make longer tracks (using the included screw junctions), joined at different heights using the V-Offset component, or shifted laterally using the H-Offset component. Although the possible uses are numerous, these long Rods primarily serve as the track for SYMPLA Fixed or Variable Plates, since the extra length allows a wide range of camera and lens (and viewfinder) combinations to be correctly positioned for the operator and for other SYMPLA components, such as the Flexible Mattebox.
Made in 15mm (0.59”) diameter tubular aluminum for strength and reduced weight, 300mm Rods are the longer of SYMPLA’s two sizes. Supplied as a pair, with two 1/2”-13UNC screw junctions included.
