SmallRig Rotatable Horizontal-to-Vertical Mount Plate Kit for Sony Alpha 1 / Alpha 7 / Alpha 9 / FX Series 4244 is designed to quickly switch between horizontal and vertical shooting without adjusting the lens’s optical axis. It maintains full access to LCD flip screens and ports and features built-in pads that prevent scratches and twists. The Arca-Swiss quick-release plate locks or releases the camera or cage within seconds and fits DJI RS-series gimbals. Compatible with Arca-type / Manfrotto RC2 tripod and DJI RS-series gimbals, the lens collar mount plate can rotate by 90 degrees by merely unlocking a knob to switch between horizontal and vertical shooting; its bottom 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threaded holes also support other quick-release plates. Besides, there is a magnetic dual-head wrench in the baseplate for easy installation and release.

These 300mm (11.8”) long Rods are one of the basic building blocks of all SYMPLA rigs, and are always used in parallel pairs to create a track which allows components to be mounted and positioned correctly.
Rods can be united to make longer tracks (using the included screw junctions), joined at different heights using the V-Offset component, or shifted laterally using the H-Offset component. Although the possible uses are numerous, these long Rods primarily serve as the track for SYMPLA Fixed or Variable Plates, since the extra length allows a wide range of camera and lens (and viewfinder) combinations to be correctly positioned for the operator and for other SYMPLA components, such as the Flexible Mattebox.
Made in 15mm (0.59”) diameter tubular aluminum for strength and reduced weight, 300mm Rods are the longer of SYMPLA’s two sizes. Supplied as a pair, with two 1/2”-13UNC screw junctions included.
