SmallRig L-Shape Mount Plate with Silicone Handle for FUJIFILM X-M5 (Black) 4876 is designed to improve the camera grip. The L-Shape Grip mounts to the camera with a 1/4″-20 screw at the bottom, and the built-in silicone pads prevent scratches. The texture and color of the grip perfectly match with FUJIFILM X-M5. The built-in Arca-Swiss quick-release baseplate allows for easy and fast Arca-type tripod assembly and disassembly. Four 1/4″-20 threaded holes at the bottom to attach Manfrotto-type plates and tripods. Strap slot for Wrist Strap (ID: 3848). The built-in flat wrench on the bottom for easy accessory assembly and disassembly. Comes with a windshield with a built-in cold shoe mount, which reduces wind noise by 15. Built-in silicone on the bottom to prevent scratching the hot shoe. These 300mm (11.8”) long Rods are one of the basic building blocks of all SYMPLA rigs, and are always used in parallel pairs to create a track which allows components to be mounted and positioned correctly.
Rods can be united to make longer tracks (using the included screw junctions), joined at different heights using the V-Offset component, or shifted laterally using the H-Offset component. Although the possible uses are numerous, these long Rods primarily serve as the track for SYMPLA Fixed or Variable Plates, since the extra length allows a wide range of camera and lens (and viewfinder) combinations to be correctly positioned for the operator and for other SYMPLA components, such as the Flexible Mattebox.
Made in 15mm (0.59”) diameter tubular aluminum for strength and reduced weight, 300mm Rods are the longer of SYMPLA’s two sizes. Supplied as a pair, with two 1/2”-13UNC screw junctions included.
