The Smoke / Concrete Vintage Collapsible photography Background offers a distinctive look, great for portraits, fashion and product photography. This versatile reversible photo background provides a timeless hand painted backdrop look that subtly complements the chosen subject. The darker of the two surfaces ‘Smoke’ offers a combination of grey tones with a subtle hint of green and also features a dark vignette effect. Whilst the reverse surface ‘Concrete’ offers a more evenly distributed grey tonal texture. The HaloCompact light reflector is a patent pending design concept that makes the everyday reflector and diffuser panel even more portable than ever! Unlike many traditional reflector/diffuser panels that incorporate a steel rim pop up design, the 82cm (32”) HaloCompact is constructed using Manfrotto’s new innovative RapidExoframe technology. The collapsible lightweight aluminium frame quickly slots together and the reflector or diffuser fabric cover simply clips onto the frame. The cleverly designed RapidExoFrame construction allows the frame to breakdown into small multiple sections and along with the folded fabric packs into a carry case measuring only 6.5 x 27 x 6.5cm (2.5” x 10.5” x 2.5”) weighing only 335g (reflector and case).The new HaloCompact surfaces are available as full solutions with the RapidExoframe or as covers only for existing users who already have a frame.
The unique patent protected Difflector fabric comprises our standard diffuser surface with a silver stripe. This means the HaloCompact will allow light to pass through like a diffuser on one side and reflect light off the silver stripes on the other side, making it a unique, true, dual purpose diffuser and reflector panel.

The HiLite photography backgrounds range allows the photographer to work in a way that was extremely difficult to achieve in the past. With the photo background HiLite the photographer can achieve ‘High Key’ photography on location and in restrictive spaces.
By rear lighting the white background itself there is no longer a need to use a background light behind the subject. Furthermore, because the photo background is actually illuminated it means the subject can stand virtually right in front of it without casting a shadow.
The HiLite photography backgrounds also works as a large rear softbox and illuminates the subject as well, meaning you can use just one other flash head to light the subject from the front. What’s more, the whole thing is collapsible.

The Sunlite surface features a combination of silver and gold stripes offering a slightly warmer reflective tone than the standard full silver. Ideal for warming skin tones and shooting during golden hour, complementing the warm colours of the sun.
