The FS-200 LED from NanLite is a monolight style light fixture with remarkable light output relative to its size.
The Nanlite FS-200 LED light uses the industry-standard Bowens light modifiers, making it easy to soften or focus the light, to provide a wide range of lighting effects. The ability to shape the light makes the FS-200 ideal for portraiture, product photography, and in-house video production.
How bright are they?
In our tests using a pair of FS-200’s in the Nanlite 60 x 90cm softbox, we were able to shoot a single person portrait with the following camera settings F8, 1/125s, ISO 1000. For a group portrait, where the lights further from the subjects, we were able to shoot a group of 4 standing side-by-side with the following camera settings F8, 1/125s, ISO 1250.
Godox has put together this comprehensive S30-D Focusing LED Three Light Kit to provide shooters with a complete lighting system that’s road ready. The kit includes three S30 LED lights each with barndoors, a power adapter, and a light stand. For precise, almost “surgical” lighting, the kit includes the optical Projection Attachment with an 85mm lens. For when you want to do everything from selective lighting to pattern projection, a Projection Attachment with an 85mm lens and literally all of its attachments is included. The extensive list includes a framing shutter, a gobo set and holder, a color effects filter set, and a color temperature filter set. Built on the foundation of the popular LS C300d, Aputure’s Light Storm LS C300d II LED Light Kit with V-Mount Battery Plate is an enhanced version with 20% more power, refined features, and advanced connectivity. Aputure uses Chip on Board (COB) technology to produce a 5500K colour temperature, with power consumption of just 350W, while outputting 3500 lux of light with an efficient reflector at a distance of 9.8′. In addition to power efficiency, this fixture also has a CRI/TLCI rating of 96, indicating accuracy in colour rendering. The fixture’s ballast/controller employs 0 to 100% Linear, Logarithmic, Exponential, and S-Curve dimming and is separated from the body of the fixture, making it lighter and reducing its size. A mounting base is included for use with an optional clamp, allowing attachment to a light stand to distribute the weight.
At just 5.7 x 3.5 x 3.5″ the compact ML60 LED Light has a host of advanced features “under the hood.” The light sports a 5600K colour temperature – ideal for shooting outdoors, in a large place dominated by windows, or to seamlessly blend with other daylight-balanced fixtures. A high CRI rating of CRI/TLCI: 96/97 is ample evidence of advanced capability in rendering colour. The ML60 dims from 0 to 100% and it has a 32-channel, 16-group receiver that allows you to adjust the light’s dimming level and on/off functions. You can manage these locally on the fixture or wirelessly at a distance with a separately-purchased controller. The light even has eight lighting effects including lightning, flash, conference, paparazzi, TV, and broken bulb.
Made with run-and-gun shooting in mind the ML60 has a removable handle as well as an umbrella socket. Ready for worldwide use, the ML60 runs on 100 to 240V, thanks to the included AC adapter, but it will also run on two NP-F970 batteries when AC power is unavailable. Godox has included a carrying case for storage and transport.
