Featuring an improved weather-resistant design and a shorter body than the S-Mic 3, the S-Mic 3S Shotgun Microphone from Deity Microphones allows boom operators and field sound recordists to achieve broadcast-quality sound in a variety of outdoor shooting scenarios like indie films, ENG, and documentaries. Unwanted background noise is practically eliminated thanks to the S-Mic 3S’s pristine audio reproduction. Low-noise circuitry and RFI resistance ensure minimal editing in post. High-sensitivity and a wide frequency range of 50 Hz to 20 kHz ensure intuitive sound pickup without additional tinkering. You’ll find no switches, buttons, or dials on the S-Mic 3S, so you always depend on it to deliver consistent sound, reliability, and ease of use.
The NTG1 is a lightweight condenser shotgun microphone, designed for professional applications in film, video, television and broadcast. Its full frequency response, low noise and transparency make it ideal in a range of applications, including filmmaking, voice-over and streaming, while its low weight (105 grams) makes it an ideal boom microphone. It also features a switchable high-pass filter for added flexibility.

The Rode VideoMic is a professional ‘On Camera’ shotgun condenser microphone. Designed to delivers clear, crisp, directional audio for video cameras and personal audio recorders. The integrated Rycote® Lyre® based shock mounting system isolates the VideoMic capsule and electronics from its all-metal shoe mount, providing isolation from external physical factors that may cause unwanted rumble and vibrations in the microphone. Constructed from a single piece of hard-wearing thermoplastic, the Lyre® provides superior acoustic suspension to traditional elastic solutions, and will never wear out, sag or snap.
Its standard sized shoe mount also includes a 3/8″ thread in the base for easy mounting on a boom pole or stand.
By employing a super-cardioid polar pattern the VideoMic becomes highly directional, focusing on the subject in front of the camera, and minimising any surrounding sounds.
In addition to the microphone’s native 40Hz-20kHz response a selectable high-pass filter at 80Hz is available, which will prevent low end noise such as air conditioners and traffic from being recorded.
A -10dB and -20dB level attenuation (or PAD), selectable from inside the battery compartment, allows recording of loud sound sources, such as live music or motorsport.
