The City Theatrical DMXcat-E allows users to perform cable testing of 5-pin XLR and Ethernet cables via an included external remote. The TecArt Manual Switcher is used to switch between two lighting desks, with up to 4 DMX universes for each desk. The inputs are connected via front panel XLR connectors and the output connectors are on the rear of the unit. Each input/output has a separate power supply and is electrically isolated to ensure the highest possible level of protection.
