The FGP28CV2 Go Plus Travel tripod series is the first to offer the compactness of a travel tripod with a versatile centre column! The tripod is constructed from carbon tubing with machined aluminium and magnesium alloy components. The tripod combines reverse folding legs that wrap around the centre column providing a more compact unit for transportation, while it also has a versatile centre column that can be removed from its conventional vertical position and can be swung through a 180 degree arc and locked into place at any point, which when combined with the three position leg angle settings makes this tripod perfect for low level macro photography. The Benro FIT29AIH1 iTrip Series 1 Aluminum Tripod includes the IH1 ball head which is encased in the reverse-folding legs during transport. This allows the tripod to fold down to just 54.5 cm. When fully extended, the tripod reaches 154.5 cm high and can hold 6kg.
The 5-section legs are secured with flip locks and can be individually adjusted in both height and leg angle. One of the legs has a foam grip and can be detached from the tripod and connected to the centre column to form a full-sized monopod.
