The Action X50 V2 is our action and adventure sports workhorse. It’s designed for photographers who need to carry a lot of gear yet still be agile and part of the action. The X50 is designed to carry gripped bodies and will comfortably fit most mirrorless and DSLR cameras (up to 6.7 in or 17cm tall) via our DSLR Core Unit series. Its roll-top access allows users to expand or compress the volume to the demands of the day. It features multiple attachment straps, including TPU compression straps for greater durability when attaching skis, and its removable helmet holder lets users secure mountaineering, ski or bike helmets to the outside of their pack. The Benro BV10 tripod kit supports up to 10kgs making it a perfect match for studio applications and larger fully rigged video cameras.

All of the main controls, other than counterbalance, are located on the left side of the head making it easy to make adjustments with a single hand while operating the camera. The 5-step counterbalance (steps 0-4) allows you to dial in the correct amount of counterbalance for your set-up. The 4 step pan & tilt movements make sure your movements are smooth and steady. One 3/8″ accessory mount come in handy when needing to add a simple audio recorder or monitor. For added versatility, the tie down stud is removable to convert the BV10 head to flat base mode for mounting to a slider. Excellent stability is achieved with the integrated 100mm metal ball. The eighth generation two stage aluminium tripod is a double tandem leg design that uses an adjustable, removable spreader, a metal 100mm bowl, oversized quick positive leg locks and dual spike feet with pads, making this kit perfect for heavy loads, ideal for supporting jibs and fully rigged cameras.

The tripod system extends to a maximum height of 164cm, while getting as low as 74cm. A carry case and shoulder strap are included.

Tilta Sony L Series to V Mount Adapter Battery Plate Type II – Tilta Gray

This adapter allows you to adapt a Sony L Series battery plate (such as the one built into the various Z CAM cameras) to a V-mount battery plate.

This allows you to use the much greater battery life of a V-mount battery to power your camera setup, keeping battery swaps to a minimum.

This is also the perfect solution to power smaller accessories that traditionally use lower capacity L Series batteries such as smaller LED Light Panels or external monitors for focus stations.

The Type II version is designed to be more compact to put less stress on the Sony L-Series contact pins, but can interfere with some of the ports on Z CAM camera bodies.

We recommend Type I plates for users who foresee this being an issue.

If you have a ring-based gimbal, the Universal Gimbal Ring Adapter Clamps allow for an easy quick release solution to attach and detach your gimbal to the Armor Man 3.0’s mechanical arms when in the normal operating mode. The clamps attach to each side of the gimbal ring and then after the adapters are attached to each of the Armor Man’s arms, the operator can simply connect the arms to the clamps on the gimbal to start operating. When you want to detach the gimbal, push in the adapters’ quick release buttons to slide off of the clamps.
