Our Divider Pocket Kit for DSLR Core Unit provides extra security and organization for gear in your camera pack. Each kit comes with 3 different-sized pockets that attach to the inside of your Core Unit creating a much more customizable and efficient space. The Pockets provide more secure storage for cables, batteries, filters, hard drives and other small gear that you don’t want to shift around or get lost.

The Shimoda Action X Divider Pocket Kit is compatible with Shimoda’s Active X30, X70 and X50 Backpacks.

MIRRORLESS/DSLR CAMERA FIT – Designed to hold a mirrorless or non-gripped DSLR body with a mounted lens up to 70-200mm F2.8. It can optionally hold 2-3 lenses and accessories.

MODULAR CONFIGURATIONS – Core Units allow for side, rear and top access configurations, and they can be mixed and matched to increase or decrease camera capacity as needed. This system ensures you never carry more padding and weight than absolutely necessary to protect the day?s camera kit, and that all remaining pack space can be dedicated to clothing and personal gear.

LIGHTWEIGHT WATER-RESISTANT & MULTI-PURPOSE SKIN – The included Skin?s primary function is a storage case for the padded Core Units, ideal for when your gear is at home and not in use. It keeps the Core Unit sealed and dust-free. The Small Skin includes an adjustable strap to use it as a convenient, lightweight shoulder bag for a quick hike out of basecamp or a walk around a new city.

EVA PROTECTIVE SHELL AND DIVIDERS – Walls and dividers are constructed with EVA which ensures much greater protection than cheaper PE foams used in most camera bags. With EVA we have greater control over the density and quality of materials used to protect your gear. It also means our walls can be thinner and use less internal volume while still providing superior protection.

MINIMALIST CONSTRUCTION – The Jersey exterior shell and Tricot lining are laminated to the EVA. By tightening up and simplifying the design in this way, we can eliminate any sloppiness and movement with dividers. The shape of the actual divider tabs has a unique inward taper. This simple concept makes setting up and adjusting the Core Unit much easier by limiting the catching of the fastener and the pulling on the sidewall material.

PRO MIRRORLESS/DSLR CAMERA FIT – Designed to fit mid- to Pro-size camera equipment such as gripped Mirrorless or DSLR bodies with lenses as long as 70-200mm 2.8.

QUICK SIDE CAMERA ACCESS – Integrates seamlessly with the side access of the Action X50 backpack, and it will also fit in every available Shimoda backpack and roller with the exception of the Action X30.

MODULAR STACKING – The Medium DSLR Core Unit V2 Unit allows a user the option to stack a Small Core Unit on top of the Medium — creating a similar volume to a Large insert. By doing this you can have a greater range of owning both Medium and Small Core Units. For example: you have the option of using just the Small Unit, just a Medium Unit, or using both together to equal a Large Core Unit volume.

LIGHTWEIGHT WATER-RESISTANT & MULTI-PURPOSE SKIN – The included Skin?s primary function is a storage case for the padded Core Units, ideal for when your gear is at home and not in use. It keeps the Core Unit sealed and dust-free. Its secondary function is to use as a packing cell. A user can fill it with clothing or other common items and pack it in their backpack or carry-on roller.

The DV Core Units are made specifically for our Action X70 backpack and DV Roller. The Extra Large size is designed to carry and protect all the DV gear you need, with an extra depth of 20 cm (7.9 in) that makes it ideal for RED or similar-sized cine/video cameras, as well as DSLRs with super telephoto lenses as long as 600mm 4.0. Like all Shimoda Core Units, it is made with our high-quality EVA laminated dividers and sidewalls, a lightweight and versatile removable skin, and an aluminum frame to add extra rigidity and support. The Extra Large DV Core Unit will max-out the interior storage of the X70 backpack and DV Roller, so it is a good choice when maximum gear storage is paramount.

The DV Core units are made specifically for our Action X70 backpack and DV Roller. The Large size is designed to carry and protect all the DV gear you need, with an extra depth of 20 cm (7.9 in) that makes it ideal for RED or similar-sized cine/video cameras, as well as DSLRs with super telephoto lenses as long as the Sony 200-600mm. Like all Shimoda Core Units, it is made with our high-quality EVA laminated dividers and sidewalls, a lightweight and versatile removable skin, and an aluminum frame to add extra rigidity and support. The Large DV Core Unit is just shy of maxing-out the X70 and DV Roller, so it can still be combined with a Small DSLR Core Unit for additional configuration options.
